Why book with Not Out Travel for the England Cricket Tour of Sri Lanka 2026?

Hear from our Managing Director Charlie Baker

Witnessing England play cricket abroad takes us to some of the most captivating holiday destinations globally, and for me, Sri Lanka reigns supreme.

I’ve had the privilege of visiting Sri Lanka twice myself, each time leaving an indelible mark on my heart. My first trip, during the ill-fated 2020 tour, lasted a mere 48 hours. However, it was my subsequent visit during a break in the India 2024 tour that truly allowed me to fall in love with this remarkable country. From the vibrant sights and sounds to the warmth of its people, delectable cuisine, pristine beaches, rolling hills, iconic landmarks, and rich history, Sri Lanka offers an abundance of new experiences at every turn. It’s truly heartening to witness tourism flourishing once again in this enchanting land.

Cricket is deeply ingrained in the fabric of Sri Lankan society. It’s impossible to stroll more than a few meters without spotting someone proudly donning a Sri Lanka cricket shirt. The passion for the sport is palpable, and nowhere is it more evident than in the country’s magnificent stadiums. Whether nestled amidst the lush hills of Kandy or set against the majestic backdrop of Galle’s historic fort, Sri Lankan stadiums are a pilgrimage for every cricket aficionado. While the upcoming tour primarily features white-ball cricket, it affords ample opportunity to delve into the myriad wonders Sri Lanka has to offer.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with the team in Sri Lanka to craft tours catering to both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers. Our aim is to showcase the country’s highlights while also providing options for those seeking off-the-beaten-path adventures. We’re incredibly excited about this program and are confident it will be an unforgettable journey for all involved.

At Not Out Travel, we remain committed to offering unparalleled flexibility for your Sri Lankan Cricket Tour. Whether you opt for a bespoke itinerary or choose from our carefully curated standard tours, rest assured, you’ll experience the camaraderie and warmth that our testimonials highlight.
