Arrive Cape Town International Airport, where you will be met by your Not Out Travel Tour Manager and transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy an evening at leisure, getting to know your fellow tourists and Not Out Travel Tour Managers at our welcome drinks.

For those who have just been with us for the Cape Town Test Match, no need to check out of your hotel as this will be your base for the Paarl ODI.

Franschhoek Wine Tour – Backsberg & Haute Cabriere

Today, enjoy a relaxed day exploring the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions and renowned for its breathtaking scenery, historic vineyards and outstanding food and wine experiences.

Depart your hotel by private coach at approximately 09:30 for the scenic drive through the Cape Winelands towards Franschhoek.

Upon arrival, enjoy around an hour at leisure to wander through the charming town centre. Franschhoek is famed for its boutique shops, galleries, cafés and relaxed atmosphere, offering the perfect opportunity to soak up the surroundings before the day’s wine tastings begin.

Continue afterwards to Backsberg Estate Cellars for your first tasting experience of the day. Cape Point Tour

Join your Not Out Travel Tour Manager for a spectacular full-day guided tour of the stunning Cape Peninsula, one of South Africa’s most iconic and scenic regions.

Travelling along the breathtaking Atlantic coastline, the tour showcases dramatic mountain scenery, charming coastal towns and some of the Cape’s most famous natural attractions.

One of the highlights of the day is a cruise from the picturesque harbour of Hout Bay to Duiker Island, commonly known as Seal Island, where hundreds of Cape fur seals can often be seen in their natural environment.

Continue onwards to the spectacular Cape Point Nature Reserve, where rugged cliffs, sweeping ocean views and unspoilt natural scenery combine to create one of the most memorable locations in the country. Guests will have time to explore the reserve and take in the incredible scenery from this world-famous landmark.

Following at stop for lunch (at own cost), the tour also includes a visit to Boulders Beach, home to the famous colony of African penguins. Enjoy the opportunity to view these fascinating birds up close from the protected boardwalks overlooking the beach and surrounding granite boulders.

Following breakfast and a monring at leisure, transfer to the Second ODI Match between South Africa and England at Mangaung Oval. After the day’s play, transfer back to your hotel.

Thursday 14th Jan

Bloemfontein

Enjoy a day at leisure in Bloemfontein.

Optional Excursion - Bloemfontein History, Art & Gardens Tour

Following breakfast, meet your Not Out Travel Tour Manager in the lobby of your Bloemfontein hotel before departing by private coach at 08:00 for a full day exploring the history, culture and scenery of South Africa’s judicial capital.

Your first stop of the morning will be Naval Hill, offering panoramic views across the city and surrounding landscape. Home to the iconic Nelson Mandela statue and local wildlife, Naval Hill provides a fantastic introduction to Bloemfontein and its unique setting.

Continue onwards to Sannaspos Battlefield for a guided visit at approximately 10:00. The battlefield played an important role during the Anglo-Boer War and offers a fascinating insight into the military history of the region and the events that shaped modern South Africa.

At around 11:30, visit the Anglo-Boer War Museum, widely regarded as one of the finest museums dedicated to the conflict. Through exhibits, photographs, personal stories and artefacts, the museum provides a moving and informative account of the war and its lasting impact.

Following the morning’s sightseeing, enjoy lunch from approximately 13:00 at the popular New York Restaurant in the suburb of Westdene, a relaxed and lively area known for its cafés and restaurants.

This afternoon, continue to the elegant Oliewenhuis Art Museum, set within beautiful grounds and home to a collection of South African art, sculpture and exhibitions housed in a striking historic mansion.

The final stop of the day will be the Free State National Botanical Garden, where there will be time to enjoy the peaceful gardens, walking trails and natural scenery before departing at approximately 17:00 for the transfer back to your hotel.

Arrive back during the early evening with the remainder of the night at leisure.

Check out of your Bloemfontein hotel and transfer to your Sandton hotel (4hrs30).

Upon arrival in Sandton, check-in to your hotel to check-in and enjoy an evening at leisure making the most of the stunning restaurant options in Nelson Mandela Square.

Sunday 17th Jan

Depart Sandton

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your international flight back to the UK.

Sunday 17 January – Arrival in Victoria Falls
This morning you will check out of your Sandton hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls International Airport, gateway to one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the renowned Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, beautifully positioned on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park. The lodge is famous for its panoramic views across open bushveld and a bustling wildlife waterhole that regularly attracts elephants, buffalo and antelope throughout the day.

After time to settle into your room, the adventure begins with a magical sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

As the African sun dips below the horizon, enjoy drinks and light snacks while drifting along one of the continent’s great rivers. Wildlife sightings are frequent and may include hippos, crocodiles and elephants along the riverbanks, while birdlife such as African fish eagles adds to the atmosphere.

Return to the lodge where the remainder of the evening is at leisure. Guests may wish to dine at the lodge’s excellent restaurant, where the terrace offers stunning views over the illuminated waterhole.

Monday 18 January
Breakfast included
After breakfast overlooking the lodge’s wildlife waterhole, depart for a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of the most extraordinary natural spectacles on earth.

Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, “The Smoke That Thunders”, the falls span more than 1.7 kilometres across the Zambezi River, plunging dramatically into the Batoka Gorge below.

Accompanied by an expert guide, explore the rainforest pathways that wind along the edge of the falls, stopping at the most spectacular viewpoints including Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls and Rainbow Falls. The constant spray sustains a lush ecosystem of tropical vegetation, while the sound of thundering water echoes through the gorge.

Following the tour, return to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax beside the lodge’s swimming pool overlooking the bush, watch wildlife gather at the lodge’s natural waterhole or visit the nearby Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, dedicated to conservation and rehabilitation.

Alternatively, Victoria Falls offers a wide range of optional activities including helicopter flights over the falls, white-water rafting in the Batoka Gorge, scenic microlight flights and lively local craft markets.

Tuesday 19 January – Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
Following breakfast, check out and journey across the Botswana border to Chobe National Park (approximately 3hrs).

Your destination is the riverfront Chobe Safari Lodge, perfectly positioned on the banks of the Chobe River where four countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

After check-in, enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out on your first safari experience.

This afternoon you will explore the Chobe River by boat, one of Africa’s most rewarding wildlife viewing experiences.

Chobe is famous for its vast elephant population, and it is not uncommon to witness large herds crossing the river between islands. From the comfort of your boat, you may also encounter hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and a wide variety of birdlife along the lush riverbanks.

Return to the lodge in the early evening for dinner overlooking the river.

Wednesday 20 January

Today is dedicated to discovering the extraordinary wildlife of Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

Following breakfast, depart on a morning boat safari along the Chobe River. Early mornings often provide exceptional sightings as wildlife gathers along the water’s edge to drink and feed.

Return to the lodge for lunch and time to relax before heading out again later in the afternoon.

In the late afternoon you will venture into the park in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. Chobe’s varied habitats support a remarkable diversity of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffe and numerous antelope species.

Your experienced safari guide will track wildlife and share insights into animal behaviour, ecology and conservation in this remarkable wilderness.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and a relaxing night under the African stars.

Thursday 21 January – Back to Victoria Falls
Breakfast and Dinner included
Rise early this morning for your final safari game drive in Chobe National Park, when predators are often still active and the bush is alive with early morning wildlife.

After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and transferring back to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for your final night in Zimbabwe.

The afternoon is at leisure, the perfect opportunity to relax by the pool, revisit Victoria Falls town, or simply enjoy the spectacular views across the surrounding bushveld.

This evening you will attend the famous ‘The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show’, an unforgettable celebration of Zimbabwean culture and cuisine.

Set within a traditional open-air enclosure, the evening includes a feast of African specialities, vibrant traditional dancing, interactive drumming and lively entertainment which will be a fitting finale to your African adventure.
