Monday 20th – Tuesday 21st Jan
Depart UK – Arrive Chennai
Board your international flight from London Heathrow or your chosen UK airport.
Upon arrival at Chennai Airport, you will be met by your Not Out Travel Tour Manager and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy an evening at leisure, getting to know your fellow tourists and Not Out Travel Tour Manager at our welcome drinks.
Wednesday 22nd Jan
1st T20
Following breakfast and a morning and afternoon at leisure, transfer to the 1st T20 between India and England at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. After the day’s play, transfer back to your hotel..
Thursday 23rd Jan
Chennai
Enjoy a morning at lesuire prior to a half-day sightseeing tour of Chennai.
Chennai City Tour
The sightseeing will begin with visit to Fort St. George, which is presently being used by the Tamil Nadu Government. Within the compound is a museum holding many remembrances of the East India Company and the British period.
From the British hold of centre, you will proceed to Mylapore, which was inhabited in the 16th century by the Portuguese; visit the San Thomas Church, named for the Christian disciple (“Doubting Thomas”) who lived and taught here in the first century.
Also visit Kapleshwar Temple, honoring Shiva, dates back to the 13th century AD and is the biggest temple in Chennai. You will also drive past the Marina Beach, the second longest in the world, stretching for several miles.

Chennai – Kolkata
After breakfast, transfer to Chennai airport to board your flight 6E-6326 for Kolkata @ 1200-1415 Hrs.
Upon arrival at Kolkata airport, transfer to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
Saturday 25th Jan
2nd T20
Day at leisure. This evening, transfer to the 2nd T20 between India and England at the world-famous Eden Gardens. After the day’s play, transfer back to your hotel.
Sunday 26th Jan
Kolkata
After breakfast, enjoy full day city tour of Kolkata including the walking tour of famous Kumartuli area.
Your day will start with the visit to Flower Market followed by drive past Howrah Bridge and then visit Kumartuli.
Kumartulli is known for its internationally renowned artisans who craft the most beautiful idols from straw and clay. How these images are crafted, the conditions in which the artisans live and work, where their material is sourced from, and which industries depend on these creations for their very survival will be observed in life-affirming action. Cocunut water is served during the tour.
Later you will visit Dalhousie Square, St Pauls Cathedral, Victoria Memorial Hall and Indian Museum.
Kolkata City Tour
Mallick Ghat Flower Market
A photographer’s paradise, the colorful Mallick Ghat Flower Market is open virtually around the clock and offers an incredible selection of flowers and garlands for sale. The huge market stretches from a little beyond the Mallick Ghat all the way to the Howrah Bridge and is flanked with flower shops on either side.
Flowers are sold by the kilo and each morning at daybreak, wholesalers arrive with huge consignments that are auctioned out to the sellers, many of which live in informal structures on the bank of the river. The market is easy to reach by bus or taxi.
Howrah Bridge
Howrah Bridge, located over the Hoogli River in West Bengal, India, is said to be the busiest bridge of the world. It got its name owing to the fact that it connects the city of Howrah to Calcutta. Hawrah Bridge in Kolkata, India, also known by the name ‘Rabindra Setu’, was set up in 1874. It stands on two 270 feet high pillars. Calcutta Howrah Bridge is a cantilever truss bridge that was constructed without using any nuts and bolts. Though, earlier it had a tram route, but presently, it is serving mainly as a Road Bridge. Howrah bridge has got two sister bridges also, namely, Vidyasagar Setu and the Vivekananda Setu that are situated at different points over the hoogly river. This bridge acts as an important symbol of Kolkata.
Victoria Memorial Hall
One of the renowned monuments in Kolkata, Victoria Memorial was built in the loving memory of Queen Victoria in 1921. Built and designed by Sir William Emerson, the Victoria Memorial Hall is an impressive edifice, which is made in white marble and is a perfect blend of Mughal and European architectural styles.
The Victoria Memorial is also a museum that houses some rare pictures, and statues of men and women who played a prominent part in the history of India and develop a pride in their past especially in relation to the history of Calcutta. In addition the museum also houses dresses, along with several artillery weapons from the Battle of Plassey, the Whispering Gallery in the dome and the famed Rosewood piano.
Cited as one of the finest and the most important building and art museum in present Kolkata, Victoria Memorial is a majestic building, which also houses a Royal Gallery that showcases oil paintings depicting the scenes from the life of Queen Victoria like receiving the sacrament at her coronation, or her marriage with Prince Albert among others.
Built on a land of 64 acres with the building covering 338 ft by 228ft, Victoria Memorial is an architectural splendor that boasts of a scenic landscaped garden, which adds to the beauty of this royal grandeur. There are some remarkable figures sculpted above the north porch, which symbolize prudence, learning and motherhood.
Indian Museum
Founded by the Asiatic Society of Bengal, the Indian Museum is the oldest and the largest multi-purpose museum in the entire Asia-Pacific region of the world. It was the formation of this museum that pioneered the idea of having a museum to foster man-made and natural objects of national importance. The collection at the museum is so remarkable that it is often regarded as the “Jadu Ghar” or the house of magic by the locals.
The year 1814 witnessed the formation of this incredible museum in the Park Street area of Kolkata. With over 100,000 exhibits in store, the India Museum becomes the country’s largest repository of antiques and artifacts. The museum is replete with the most impressive collection of archaeological, geographical and botanical objects. Astonishing objects such as remains of the Harappan Civilization, meteorites, Buddha’s ashes, Shah Jahan’s emerald goblet, and even human embryos can be seen in the galleries of the Indian Museum.
The Italian style of architecture was used to construct the magnificent structure of the museum. The museum has six departments for Art, Archaeology, Anthropology, Geology, Zoology and Economic Botany, comprising more than sixty galleries. A book shop and a library are also provided for those inquisitive about history. The Indian Museum is regarded as an Institution of National Importance by the the Constitution of India. It offers a plethora of exquisite credentials of the Indian culture and heritage. The Indian Museum is a golden opportunity for us to get an insight of the rich history of our nation.

Early morning transfer to Rajkot airport to board your flight for Pune via Mumbai. (Rajkot to Mumbai: AI-688 @ 0840-1000 Hrs. & Mumbai to Pune: AI-841 @ 1105-1200 Hrs.)
Upon arrival at Pune, transfer to the hotel for an afternoon and evening at leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of Pune.
Pune City Tour
Shaniwar Wada Fort is an ancient fort that features 5 gates, a palace, a royal assembly hall and a beautiful fountain. The grounds of the palace feature a well- manicured lawn which adds to the beauty of the site. The fort is the location where a popular Bollywood movie named Bajirao Mastani was shot. The light and sound show displayed in the evenings re-enacts the glorious past of the palace. We will also visit Aga khan Palace, NC Kelkar Museum, Saras Baug and Parvati Temple.
Friday 31st Jan

Enjoy exploring Pune before transfering to the 4th T20 between India and England at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. After the day’s play, transfer back to your hotel.
Saturday 1st Feb
Pune – Mumbai
Today, you will be transferred to Pune railway station to board your train for Mumbai. (Train: Vandebharat Express @ 0920-1235 Hrs.)
Upon arrival at Mumbai Railway station, transfer to the hotel for an afternoon exploring this wonderful city, or enjoy the amenities of the Trident Hotel!
Sunday 2nd Feb
5th T20
Day is at leisure. Later in the evening, walk down to Wankhede Cricket Stadium which is just 1 km (approx. 15-20 Min walk) to enjoy the final T20 match of the series between India and England.

Monday 3rd - Mumbai City Tour
After breakfast, half day city tour of Mumbai: Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (Formerly known as Prince of Wales Museum) built in grand Indo Saracenic style, drive past Marine Drive, Mumbai’s most popular seaside promenade and see the Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens on the slopes of the Malabar Hills, offering a nice view of the marine lines and the Chowpatty Beach. Visit Mani Bhawan where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay and the Dhobi Ghat. Drive past the Flora Fountain, the colourful Crawford Market and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Formerly Victoria Terminus Train Station).
Tuesday 4th - Elephanta Caves Tour
After breakfast, excursion to Elephanta Caves. (Closed on Monday)
Elephanta Caves is UNESCO World Heritage site is a fine specimen of rock cut architecture and art of medieval India. To state the trivial, there are no elephants in Elephanta! The name was given by the Portuguese as there was a large elephant sculpture in the island, when it was held by them. Otherwise this island was known as Gharapuri. The island is known for the 7th century caves with boldly executed mythical themes.
